The property is located in twenty-eight acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, fragrant citrus orchards and olive groves with spectacular views of the snow – capped Atlas Mountains. The resort is located twenty five minutes from the Djema el-Fna square and the ancient walled city which makes it super easy to explore the various sites around.

The design of this luxury resort has been inspired by the magnificent history of Moroccan architecture. The courtyard of the main building incorporates the design of the historic Medersa Ben Youssef, built in the 14th century and one of Marrakech’s most famous historic monuments.

  1. Oberoi, as usual is a beautiful beautiful property. I wonder why they took their umbrella off the properties in Cairo, Egypt. From the first hotel in Simla to the newest addition, Oberoi has always set new standards for hospitality. In case of Marrakesh, as you mentioned it is close to the Atlas mountains, it will be overwhelming in terms of the view! Surely, it is designed for discerning travelers!

  4. Morocco!!!! Totally mesmerised! Not just because it is on my wishlist and I am so so fascinated with everything about that country. But because Oberoi has added all those charms to it’s property there! Rather than making it all fancy with non local touches, there is so much attention to detail here! Full marks 🙂

20 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, fragrant citrus orchards and olive groves with spectacular views of the snow – capped Atlas Mountains! You had me at orchards! WOW. Hope to go there soon and experience this!
